I was suffering a problem with my right shoulder and made an appointment to see Mr. Kurian. From the very first consultation to being discharged I found the experience very professional from start to finish. He made me feel very comfortable at all times and always listened and was attentive to my thoughts. He explained everything in detail about the diagnosis and how he was going to proceed. I eventually had a procedure carried out on the shoulder by Mr. Kurian and his team and was always made aware and kept up to date regarding how the whole process would be carried out. On my admission he he made me feel very comfortable and confident regarding the procedure. The treatment I received from admission to discharge by the whole team at the Park hospital was amazing. The procedure was successful and as before Mr. Kurian explained everything to me about what he carried out during the procedure. I must also mention Mr. Kurians secretary Sarah. She was friendly, polite and handled all my appointments very efficiently. I can’t thank them all enough for a great job done by all.

Lovely manner, explained the procedure and complications clearly prior to my surgery. Clinics running to time. Excellent outcome following my surgery - very little pain post surgery, scar very neat and progressing well with range of movement.

I fell off my bike on on January 3rd 2022 as a result my elbow was badly damaged I attended A+E at Kings Mill Hospital and was informed,after discussion with members of Mr Kurian's team,that I would need to have a replacement elbow (All alternative treatments were clearly explained to me and I was able to make an informed decision that I would need a replacement elbow). I attended the trauma clinic on Thursday January 6th and Mr Kurian explained all the pros and cons with reference to my surgery and clearly answered all my questions and patiently took me through the consent process. The surgery took place on Wednesday January 12th and the whole process was completed efficiently and with sensitivity. I was discharged on Friday January 14th. During my stay in the Hospital I was treated by all staff professionally and with care and compassion. Mr Kurian visited me twice during stay and again listened carefully and patiently answered my questions. I have seen Mr Kurian twice since my surgery and he has confirmed that I am making good progress (My surgical wound has now healed completely) and I will see him in 4 months) I have had three Physiotherapy appointments since my surgery and again I have received practical,caring and professional treatment.I will attend for a further appointment in 4 weeks. I am happy to report that the treatment I received from staff (Receptionists,Porters, Health Care Assistants, Nurses,Physiotherapists,Doctors and others such as cleaners and catering staff) was of an exceptionally high standard and I could not have expected any more. I am proud to recommend Kings Mill Hospital.

Mr Kurian was very informative about the problem (tennis elbow), the management and treatment options. On the day of the procedure he came to see me to check if I was well and eased any nerves I had. In the theatre he explained and showed me the process step by step (PRP injection). Very interesting and again putting me at ease. On carrying out the procedure I did not feel a thing, he was very gentle. After experiencing signs of improvement I returned back to work 2 days post procedure. Mr Kurian is very skilled, professional, kind and caring who I would highly recommend.
